Foram indicados os nomeados para os WGA Awards (Writers Guild of America Awards), os prémios de melhor argumento, tanto de cinema como de televisão.
CINEMA
A ausência de grandes argumentos que provavelmente estarão nomeados para os Óscares, fez com que os WGA tivessem de optar por escolhas mais originais. Contudo, todos os nomeados eram esperados, com a excepção curiosa (mas perfeitamente válida) do argumento de Please Give e I Love You Phillip Morris.

No drama, também Breaking Bad é um dos mais bem cotados. Já na comédia, 30 Rock e Modern Family são o destaque.
