Lista de pré-nomeados ao Óscar 2015 de Melhor Canção Original

A Academia norte-americana de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas divulgou uma lista de setenta e seis canções elegíveis ao Óscar 2015 de Melhor Canção Original. Durante o processo de nomeações, todos os membros do ramo musical da Academia receberão uma lista com os trabalhos submetidos e uma cópia em DVD das canções, que serão depois votadas por ordem de preferência, até cinco no total. Apenas um máximo de duas canções por filme podem acabar nomeadas.

O filme Rio 2 conta com quatro canções elegíveis. Entre as canções elegíveis destacam-se "Big Eyes" (Lana del Rey), "Lost Stars" (Adam Levine), "Split the Difference" (Ethan Hawke), "Yellow Flicker Beat" (Lorde), "Everything is Awesome" (Tegan and Sara), "Glory" (John Legend e Common), "I’ll Get You What You Want (Cockatoo in Malibu)" (Bret McKenzie), "Mercy Is" (Patty Smith e Lenny Kaye), "Opportunity" (Sia), "Miracles" (Coldplay), "What Is Love" (Janelle Monáe) ou "The Last Goodbye" (Billy Boyd).
