National Board of Review 2011: Os vencedores

Aproxima-se o fim do ano e com ele o rol interminável de listas e prémios cinematográficos. Hoje foi a vez do National Board of Review (NBR) apresentar a sua lista dos melhores do ano 2011 e, para grande surpresa, Hugo e Martin Scorsese foram considerados o Melhor Filme e Melhor Realizador. É raro estas duas categorias coincidirem: o ano passado aconteceu com The Social Network e David Fincher e em 1997 com L.A. Confidential e Curtis Hanson. Contudo, embora as escolhas do NBR coincidam habitualmente com grande parte das nomeações aos Óscares, no que diz respeito às premiações tal é menos comum.

Desempenho Revelação: Felicity Jones em Like Crazy & Rooney Mara em The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Melhor Estreia na Realização: J. C. Chandor por Margin Call

Melhor Elenco: The Help

Spotlight Award: Michael Fassbender (A Dangerous Method, Jane Eyre, Shame, X-Men: First Class)
