A nona edição dos prémios cinematográficos e televisivos da Irlanda destacaram como filme do ano, a comédia The Guard, atribuindo-lhe quatro dos principais prémios: Melhor Filme, Melhor Realizador, Melhor Argumento e Melhor Actriz Secundária. No domínio televisivo, a série Love/Hate recebeu sete prémios.
