Jimmy Fallon será o anfitrião da gala dos Golden Globes 2017

O canal NBC anunciou Jimmy Fallon como o próximo anfitrião da gala de entrega dos Golden Globes 2017. O apresentador do The Tonight Show já foi anfitrião dos Primetime Emmy Awards em 2010 e sucederá ao britânico Ricky Gervais na apresentação da gala da Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

A entrega dos Golden Globes decorrerá a 8 de Janeiro de 2017.

"The Revenant" vence os Globos de Ouro 2016

A Hollywood Foreign Press Association entregou os Globos de Ouro 2016, numa cerimónia presidida por Ricky Gervais (pela quarta vez). The Revenant demonstrou o poder que tem na corrida aos Óscares, vencendo nas categorias de Melhor Filme, Melhor Realizador e Melhor Actor. De fora ficou Spotlight, principal competidor aos Óscares; enquanto que The Martian venceu dois galardões (na categoria de comédia).

Na secção de televisão, Mr. Robot confirma o estatuto de série da temporada, ao vencer na categoria de Melhor Série - Drama e Melhor Actor Secundário. A Amazon também domina ao garantir Mozart in the Jungle como Melhor Série - Comédia e Melhor Actor - Comédia.

"Carol" soma cinco nomeações aos Globos de Ouro 2015; novas séries ganham destaque

A Hollywood Foreign Press Association revelou a lista de nomeados aos Golden Globes 2015. Carol lidera a lista, com cinco nomeações; The Big Short, Steve Jobs e The Revenant ficam-se pelas quatro nomeações. O até agora grande preferido aos Óscares 2016, Spotlight, foi nomeado em três categorias. Mad Max: Fury Road continua a infiltrar-se nas premiações, com duas poderosas nomeações: Melhor Filme - Drama e Melhor Realizador (George Miller). Alicia Vikander consegue duas nomeações, pelos seus trabalhos em Ex Machina e The Danish Girl. Helen Mirren volta a reafirmar-se na corrida ao Óscar: repete o feito dos prémios SAG, sendo nomeada por Trumbo.

Nas habituais reviravoltas dos prémios da HFPA, The Martian surpreende por conseguir nomeações na categoria de Melhor Filme - Comédia ou Musical (submissão feita sobretudo para garantir a sua adição na lista) e Melhor Actor - Comédia ou Musical. Ridley Scott é nomeado como realizador. Michael Shannon repete a nomeação dos SAG, mas aqui Will Smith (Concussion) e Sylvester Stallone (Creed) voltam a garantir o favoritismo. Jane Fonda volta a ser cotada na corrida por Youth (o filme recebeu uma nomeação surpresa na categoria de Melhor Canção Original).

As ausências mais notadas são Johnny Depp (conseguiu ser nomeados nos prémios SAG), Tom Hanks (Bridge of Spies, que é também ignorado para Melhor Filme), Michael Keaton e Mark Ruffalo (ambos por Spotlight). Ou até Meryl Streep, cuja presença a HFPA sempre tenta conseguir, por Ricky and the Flash.

O actor, realizador, argumentista e produtor George Clooney será o homenageado com o prémio Cecil B. DeMille nos Globos de Ouro 2015. O prémio honorário da Hollywood Foreign Press Association é entregue anualmente pelas contribuições excepcionais ligadas ao mundo do entretenimento ao longo dos anos, por parte do homenageado, funcionando muitas vezes como um prémio carreira.

George Clooney sucede ao cineasta Woody Allen que recebeu o mesmo prémio na edição anterior dos prémios. A entrega terá lugar a 11 de Janeiro de 2015, numa cerimónia com Tina Fey e Amy Poehler como anfitriãs.

"12 Years A Slave", "American Hustle", "Breaking Bad" e "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" triunfam nos Globos de Ouro 2014

Numa cerimónia previsível, embora não isenta de algumas surpresas, foram 12 Years A Slave e American Hustle os filmes que saíram premiados na cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro 2014, nas categorias de drama e comédia, respectivamente. Mas foi o filme de David O. Russell que se sagrou vencedor em total de prémios: recebeu três. Dallas Buyers Club foi premiado por duas vezes, enquanto que todos os outros receberam apenas um galardão.

O canal NBC divulgou recentemente três vídeos promocionais da cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro 2014:

Pela segunda vez, a Hollywood Foreign Press Association contratou as actrizes Tina Fey e Amy Poehler como anfitriãs da cerimónia. A cerimónia decorrerá a 12 de Janeiro de 2014.

"12 Years A Slave", "American Hustle", "House of Cards" e "Behind of the Candelabra" são os mais nomeados aos Globos de Ouro 2014

A Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) divulgou hoje a lista dos nomeados ao Globos de Ouro 2014. Nas categorias de cinema, 12 Years A Slave e American Hustle lideram, com sete nomeações cada um. Segue-se Nebraska, com cinco nomeações. Aqui as maiores omissões foi a omissão de Lee Daniels' The Butler, incluindo Oprah Winfrey, considerada até então como uma presença praticamente certa na categoria de actriz secundária ou Martin Scorsese como realizador. Mas nas surpresas temos Leonardo DiCaprio ou Kate Winslet a serem nomeados ou a presença de Rush como Melhor Filme. Surpresa também nas categorias de comédia ou musical que este ano e ao contrário de edições anteriores, não contêm estranhas entradas.

Em televisão, House of Cards e Behind the Candelabra receberam quatro nomeações, cada uma. Uma das mais impressionantes ausências é a omissão por completo de Homeland, assim como dos seus protagonistas Damian Lewis e Claire Danes. Este ano, Modern Family conseguiu também apenas duas nomeações.

Os vencedores dos Globos de Ouro 2014 serão conhecidos a 12 de Janeiro, numa cerimónia apresentada pela dupla Tina Fey e Amy Poehler.

Tina Fey e Amy Poehler serão as anfitriãs dos Globos de Ouro por mais dois anos

Depois de terem sido anfitriãs da cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro 2013, a Hollywood Foreign Press Association revelou que Tina Fey e Amy Poehler voltarão a sê-lo novamente, por mais dois anos, nas cerimónias de 2014 e 2015.

De recordar que a cerimónia de 2013 foi vista por quase 20 milhões de espectadores, a maior audiência da cerimónia em seis anos e um aumento de 28% na demo dos 18 aos 49 anos, de 2012. A crítica também elogiou imenso a prestação das actrizes e argumentistas norte-americanas.

A cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro 2014 decorrerá a 12 de Janeiro de 2014 e o cineasta Woody Allen será galardoado com o prémio Cecil B. DeMille.

O cineasta Woody Allen receberá este ano, durante a cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro 2014, o prémio Cecil B. DeMille. O prémio honorário da Hollywood Foreign Press Association é entregue anualmente pelas contribuições excepcionais ligadas ao mundo do entretenimento ao longo dos anos, por parte do homenageado, funcionando muitas vezes como um prémio carreira.

Woody Allen sucede assim à actriz Jodie Foster que recebeu o mesmo prémio nos Globos de Ouro 2013. Habitual ausência das cerimónias de prémios (esteve ausente nos Óscares 2012, quando venceu o prémio de Melhor Argumento Original), o Split Screen sabe, por fontes ligadas à HFPA, que o cineasta com mais de 60 anos de carreira, irá mesmo comparecer para receber o prémio.

Terminou há instantes a cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro 2013 que revelou os vencedores em televisão e cinema. Em televisão, Homeland e Game Change conseguem três prémios, enquanto que Girls recebe dois. Já nas categorias de cinema, Argo venceu os dois prémios principais (Melhor Filme - Drama e Melhor Realizador), enquanto que Les Misérables venceu em três categorias. Django Unchained recebeu prémios em duas categorias.
