O filme The Sapphires é o mais nomeados aos prémios AACTA 2012, os prémios da Academia de Cinema e Televisão Australiana. O filme de estreia de Wayne Blair, que foi exibido no Festival de Cannes 2012, conta com doze nomeações, incluindo Melhor Filme e Melhor Realizador.
