Sherlock Holmes: His Last Vow foi o programa com mais prémios Emmy 2014, num total de sete galardões, incluindo Melhor Telefilme (venceu em quatro categorias técnicas). Seguiu-se Breaking Bad com cinco prémios, incluindo Melhor Série Dramática, Melhor Actor, Actriz e Actor Secundário também nas categorias dramáticas. Modern Family foi considerada a Melhor Série de Comédia, vencendo num total de três categorias. Saturday Night Live e True Detective venceram cinco prémios.
