"Trumbo" lidera nomeações; surpresas nos prémios SAG 2015 podem alterar a corrida aos Óscares

O sindicato norte-americano dos actores revelou a sua lista de nomeações aos prémios SAG 2015, onde Trumbo se destaca com três nomeações, incluindo Helen Mirren para Melhor Actriz Secundária (a actriz consegue nomeação tripla pelo elenco do filme, mas também como surpresa na categoria de interpretação feminina principal por Woman in Gold). Surpresa na categoria de actor secundário, por excluir Sylvester Stallone (Creed) ou Michael Keaton (Spotlight), mas colocar na corrida nomes como Michael Shannon (99 Homes) ou Jacob Tremblay (Room). The Martian, que começa a ganhar tracção na corrida aos Óscares, foi completamente aqui ignorado; assim como The Hateful Eight. Sarah Silverman (I Smile Back) é surpresa, deixando de fora Jennifer Lawrence (Joy, filme também completamente ignorado).

Nas categorias televisivas, Idris Elba e Mark Rylance fazem figura: os actores já tinham sido nomeados na área de cinema e aqui conseguem eleger o seu trabalho por Luther e Wolf Hall, respectivamente. Surpresa para a entrada de Rami Malek (Mr. Robot), Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) e Kristen Wiig (The Spoils Before Dying). Ausências notáveis de The Affair, The Americans ou American Crime; especialmente numa secção que acabou por fazer escolhas improváveis como Bill Murray no especial de Natal, A Very Murray Christmas ou Nicole Kidman por Grace of Monaco (longa-metragem para cinema, tornada em telefilme). A categoria de série de comédia acabou estendida para seis produções, devido a um empate e que permitiu a entrada este ano de Transparent e Key and Peele. Game of Thrones, Homeland e House of Cards conseguem três nomeações, sendo que a série da Netflix (que aglomerou oito nomeações) fê-lo sem uma nomeação na categoria de duplos de acção.
