Foram hoje divulgados os nomeados aos Óscares 2010, embora sem fugir muito ao esperado, não foi isenta de surpresas. Avatar e The Hurt Locker lideram a disputa com 9 nomeações, seguidos de Inglourious Basterds (8 nomeações), Up in the Air e Precious (6 nomeações, cada) e Up (5 nomeações).

As novidades centram-se na nomeação de The Blind Side para Melhor Filme bem como a de District 9 (esperada, mas pouco previsível) que tomam provável lugar de Invictus. A ausência deste último pode explicar o porquê de também Clint Eastwood não figurar na lista de Melhor Realizador. Ou ainda a a agradável surpresa de In the Loop figurar entre os candidatos a Melhor Argumento Adaptado.
